About the role

We’re looking for a Senior PPC Executive to join the marketing team here at PLT. You will manage, optimize and scale PPC & Shopping accounts profitably and within agreed target ROI for the managed accounts. You will work with Marketing Acquisition Manager to ensure all paid search activity falls in line with the wider paid search and digital marketing strategy.

As a Senior PPC Executive, you will:

  • Drive target new customers within agreed CPA targets through PPC and Shopping accounts.
  • Be responsible for day to day campaign management of USA & smaller international territory paid search & shopping accounts across Google, and Bing search engines to constantly achieve agreed KPIs and maximize conversions within target return on ad spend.
  • Ensure that PPC & Google shopping campaigns are optimised according to best practice guidelines.
  • Manage bids via manual bidding and automated bid management solutions.
  • Pro-actively look at new ways to automate and optimise the account performance.
  • Implement new initiatives and ensure all new features / technology is being tested.
  • Work with the 3rd party Google shopping feed provider and manage Shopping accounts profitably.
  • Implement correct 3rd party tracking to Campaigns, Keywords & Ads.
  • Grow existing PPC accounts through continuous account campaign build outs.
  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly campaign & bespoke reports & analysis.
  • Analyse account performance data.
  • Feedback and report on campaign success.
  • Perform regular keyword research, preparation and analysis.
  • Perform weekly negative keyword research & Search query reporting.
  • Perform ongoing competitor analysis & reporting.
  • Update the new campaign and build out calendar.
  • Work closely with Merch and Product teams to ensure campaigns are optimised and aligned with trading and search trends.
  • Work with UX to A-B test messaging and customer journeys.
  • Co-ordinate new campaign build outs across the PPC team.
  • Support with training requirements, mentoring and guidance for junior team members.
  • Fulfil relevant daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks ensuring that all campaigns are executed to plan.
  • Work with merchandising team to plan accurate stock allocations for promotional and seasonal activity and day-to day forecasted sales.
  • A willingness to take all Google and industry qualifications where requested.

About you

As a Senior PPC Executive you will have excellent reporting and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate this when working within the team, wider team, ad-platform representatives and when working externally with suppliers. You will have a true passion for PPC and digital marketing in general. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. Your time management skills will be second to none and you will be able to manage conflicting prioritise in a fast-paced environment. You will display high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

As a Senior PPC Executive you will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience managing paid search & shopping campaigns.
  • Educated to Degree standard as a minimum requirement.
  • 1 years of experience with SA360 Bid Management or equivalent software.
  • Proven track record in driving successful PPC campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Adwords & Bing.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience of Google Shopping and YouTube Ads.
  • Experience using a bid management tool.
  • Google Ads Certification.
