About the role

An exciting opportunity has become vacant as a PPC Assistant in the Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Marketing Acquisition Manager with Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign builds.
  • Assisting with new PPC account setup.
  • Assisting with the day to day Google shopping campaign tasks.
  • Building new keyword campaigns in Google and bing.
  • International account campaign build outs.
  • Performing keyword research & preparation.
  • Conducting negative keyword research & Search query analysis.
  • Researching new keyword opportunities.
  • Writing effective PPC ads & A-B test messaging.
  • Implementing correct 3rd party tracking to Campaigns, Keywords & Ads.
  • PPC/Shopping Account optimisation.
  • Running daily, weekly & monthly campaign reports & analysis.
  • Performing ongoing competitor analysis & reporting.
  • Ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
  • Communicating within the team and with external suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Day to day management of selected international PPC & Google Shopping accounts.
  • Ensuring PPC & Google shopping campaigns are optimised according to best practice guidelines.
  • Managing bids via manual bidding and automated bid management solutions.
  • Working with Google Editor and Bing Editor.
  • Constantly achieving agreed KPIs.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to take all Google Adwords exams.

About you

As a PPC Assistant you will need to have excellent reporting skills, high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. You will be a proactive, can-do approach with high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation. You need to demonstrate a true passion for PPC and digital marketing in general.

As a PPC Assistant, you will be:

  • Educated to Degree standard as a minimum requirement.
  • Highly analytical, organised and have strong time management skills.
  • Able to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving workplace
  • In possession of Google Adwords Certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with special attention to Excel.
  • An effective communicator – both written and verbally.
