About the role

We need an experience Events and Brand Experiences Manager to join the marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract. We need you to manage small to large scale events which will include manage planning, preparation and execution of events globally. You will liaise with third party production agencies, negotiate costs, write critical paths, manage bump in/outs for each event, organise talent requests with management including specific riders (technical and hospitality).

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing top line budgets for all events.
  • Researching suppliers, compiling price comparisons, booking flowers/hospitality, preparing merchandise, working with creative and support hosting at the event.
  • Overseeing and managing all external suppliers.
  • Working with Creative team on branding guidelines and ensure these are displayed throughout each event.
  • Managing the Brand Ambassador / talent gifting programmes globally.
  • Planning the brand Christmas party each year and assisting HR on the planning of staff parties.
  • Managing the PR and Influencer event calendar.
  • Global VIP and influencer gifting creative concepts for product and campaign launches as well as VIP birthday gift creative concepts and planning.
  • Working with USA production agency on creative elements for any shoots taking place within the US (i.e., branded merchandise, sweet treats, set props etc).
  • Sourcing new 3rd party production teams when necessary in specific / new territories who are on brand for PLT. Requesting sample work / previous visual renders of party production.
  • Displaying technical knowledge when dealing with AV / staging suppliers.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, excellent attention to detail and can-do attitude. You will have technical knowledge when dealing with AV / staging suppliers. It’s also critical that you have previous events experience so you can hit the ground running.

As an Events and Brand Experiences Manager you will be:

  • An excellent communicator – written, verbal internally and externally.
  • Able to effectively build relationships at all levels and have established strong supplier contacts.
  • Extremely well organised with the ability to juggle multiple streams of work.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • An effective team player – supporting other where required.
  • Confident, highly organised and able to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Experienced in managing top line budgets.
