About the role

As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the digital marketing strategy across the UK, USA, Ireland, Australia, France & ROW. You will be responsible for customer acquisition / retention, and traffic generation online, overseeing all digital teams and external agencies/networks to ensure maximum sales, ROI & effective CPA are achieved.

Further duties of the role will include:

  • Overseeing the management of all digital marketing, driving traffic and conversion through PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display & Paid Social.
  • Ensuring business targets for ROI and customer acquisition metrics are met for all channels on a global scale.
  • Providing recommendations to the Board and senior members of the business on the most effective ways to drive new customer acquisition in all territories.
  • Devising and implementing growth strategies across new and existing markets and ensuring all digital channels work simultaneously to drive brand growth and achieving acquisition targets.
  • Working with individual digital teams across channel reporting, ensuring all recommendations and resulting actions are identified and completed.
  • Communicating actions to senior management on a weekly basis and ensuring these are followed through across relevant teams.
  • Contributing to ‘out of the box’ thinking to identify potential new platforms that maintain market-leading use of digital marketing platforms.
  • Planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
  • Management development and leadership of the digital team in executing the above.

About you

We need our Head of Digital Marketing to have experience of generating material sales growth. It’s critical that you have experience working in a fast paced, digital marketing environment and will have gained experience in a comparable role where you are coordinating activity across all digital marketing channels. You will have a good track record of delivering ROI and effective customer acquisition cost on digital marketing spend.

You will be tenacious, self-motivated, and able to communicate effectively at all levels with an inquisitive and innovative approach. Good communication skills are essential as is a flexible working approach. You will take pride in your work and have a positive can-do attitude. Your attention to detail and quality control will be essential in this role as will the ability to adept at managing teams.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strategic experience in a fast-paced digital B2C or agency environment.
  • Experience developing digital customer growth in new markets and managing a large team.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience in using Google Analytics/Adwords/SEM Rush.
  • Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.
