Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Digital, your role responsibilities as French Digital Marketing Assistant will include:


Key functional areas of responsibility

  • Translate category banner copy for the French website
  • Translate copy and content for marketing campaigns including Email, CRM and Social
  • Outreach to French Publishers to help grow our French Affiliate Program
  • Translate copy for Display and Paid Social Ads
  •  Proofing to ensure grammar, punctuation, spellings, terminology, content and other linguistic issues are highlighted and corrected
  • Conducting keyword research and French trend analysis for SEO and PPC teams
  • Carry out competitor analysis across all digital channels to help find gaps in our French offering
  • Write optimised Title tags and Meta Descriptions for SEO
  • Liaise with French bloggers for gifting purposes
  • Help launch a dedicated French Blog and contribute regular posts
  • Help to build French PPC campaigns
  • Translate keywords and PPC Adcopy
  • Audit PPC Search Query Reports to identify new French keyword opportunities and make recommendations on terms to use
  • Use competitor tools to identify keyword trends
Skills & experience required
  • Fluent French Speaker and fluency in English
  • Ability to translate from English into French plus ideally another European language (German preferred but not essential)
  • Entry Level / 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Digital marketing experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet given deadlines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
