Job Summary


To provide QA testing across our website and various software systems reliably and on time. You will have good knowledge of agile methodologies, be able to engage actively with different departments to understand business requirements, elaborate user stories and define acceptance criteria. As a QA engineer you will be expected to plan and create test scripts, triage issues found and report on progress. Furthermore, time management is key as you will be expected to handle multiple projects at once and prioritise accordingly.


Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities


  • Performing test planning and test execution on multiple projects
  • Analysing functional specifications and user stories to create test cases
  • Agreeing test scope and scenarios with key stakeholder and/or product owner
  • Producing scope, test plan, test results & test overview documentation
  • Keeping the team and relevant stakeholders informed of progress and any challenges
  • Providing feedback on project quality, risks and changes to Project Managers and Lead QA
  • Assisting the Lead QA with test closure reports and gaining sign off from key stakeholders
  • Identifying issues and risks relating to workload, escalate these appropriately and provide suggested mitigating actions
  • Collaborating with the QA team, development team and other departments to produce high quality software & integration solutions.
  • Flexible to changes and can work on multiple projects


Person Specification

  • At least 2 years’ experience in testing
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience testing websites and backend systems
  • Experience writing test scripts
  • Regression testing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in cross platform/device testing
  • Desirable skills/qualifications:


  • ISTQB foundation qualification
  • Automated testing
  • Experience in testing ecommerce sites
  • Experience in Magento testing
  • JIRA
  • App testing




  • Is an ambassador for the brand.
  • Attends training, meetings and other events as requested by direct manager or senior management.
  • Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside of own job role when requested, including supporting associated companies.
  • Maintains own working area in a professional and organised manner.
