PrettyLittleThing are looking for a Senior Content Marketing Executive to join the Marketing department and help drive our digital strategy forwards by creating regular content initiatives in order to drive traffic, engagement, and assist in revenue generation/customer retention.

The position would suit an individual with 3+ years in a similar role (agency or client side), who is looking for an opportunity further develop their career by joining a fast paced and growing business.


Creative Strategy:

  • Manage PrettyLittleThing’s content strategy - Take information from key stakeholders throughout the business on upcoming activity and data on key customer shopping ‘moments’ to define a multi-channel strategy/calendar.
  • Content production - Break down the strategy into clear briefs and distribute through to relevant departments, managing the production side and feeding back to key stakeholders on progress.
  • Content launch/execution - Work with the wider marketing team to ensure when content is launched it is promoted across all relevant channels, reaching the customer across multiple touch points.
  • Work with SEO team to ensure that all content is launched ahead of seasonal peaks and is well optimised.
  • Manage the PrettyLittleThing blog – manage a team of writers ensuring a steady stream of content goes live on the blog touching on key customer moments.
  • Work with the SEO team to plan blog content in line with keyword research to target ‘position zero’ rankings.
  • Work with the paid media team on TrueView strategy briefs and production.
  • Manage PrettyLittlething’s YouTube channel from uploading/scheduling or new content to optimisation and reporting.
  • Analyse site metrics post-content/campaign launch to report back on results.


  • Work with the wider business to plan category promotions and integrate into the wider content strategy.
  • Work with the CRM team to help plan e-mail content in line with category promotions and content strategy.

Tone of voice/brand copy:

  • Lead PrettyLittleThing’s approach to copy (both on and off-site); ensuring every piece of content we produce resonates with our customers and is on brand – collating this into a ‘Brand Bible’ for the wider business to work from.
  • Work with the PrettyLittleThing brand team to regularly review and update the brand tone of voice guidelines based around changes in language used and feeding back to key stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Work with the eCommerce team on a category copy review process to bring in line with regular TOV changes.
  • Create campaign names for Studio that fit with the brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Assist in general creative writing tasks for landing pages/campaigns/events/competitions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • A good understanding of Digital Marketing.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong communication and time management skills.
  • Experience of working with all common Microsoft packages & strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to generate key insights and reports.
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics.
  • Experience of working with any of the following channels/departments would be beneficial:
    • SEO
    • CRM/e-mail planning
    • Video Advertising/TrueView
    • Social Media
    • PR/Blogger & Influencer Outreach

Candidates should be passionate about fashion, writing and have a creative flair.

A second language would be beneficial, but is not essential.
