Role is weighted 80/20 to Paid Social. Reporting to the Head of Digital, your role responsibilities as Paid Social Manager will include:


What you'll do

  • Management and activation of Paid Social working to conversion specific KPIs
  • Plan, execute and optimise campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and some other Display platforms
  • Develop & own Paid Social strategies (and test plan) to support Head of Digital
  • Management of partners, FMPs, media owners and internal stakeholders for accurate execution 
  • Own channel analysis and reporting on performance
  • Support with budget management in-line with KPIs, forecasts & business objectives
  • Work with the Head of Digital to drive efficiencies, traffic, revenue and new customer growth
  • Regular audits of channels to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Own tactical media planning prior to going live and in-line with wider marketing strategies
  • Work closely with other channels and Business Intelligence to understand incremental return
  • Understand role Paid Social and Display play within the media mix, importance in the customer journey and potential uplift to aiding conversion via other channels
  • Own new ideas / concepts, make improvements based on current performance to agreed KPIs
  • Understanding and advising on the difference between brand vs. direct response campaigns
  • Be a channel expert with authority and keep up-to-date with new platforms and initiatives
  • Maintain efficient cost per fan (CPF) for Paid Social media campaigns in-line with agreed targets
  • Building social media audiences that convert using the insights tools
  • Creating re-marketing ads that turn lost visitors to aid conversion
  • Management of briefing to keep creative and incentives up-to-date
  • Management of Paid Media Assistant including their development
  • Support development of programmatic advertising strategy and align with search strategy
  • Support with Display strategy and campaign management



What you've got

  • 3+ years experience in Paid Social, Display (and PPC, not essential but preferred)
  • Demonstrate in-depth practical knowledge (optimisation, account structures, targeting) of Paid Social and Display platforms, concepts and best practice
  • Experience of supporting Head of Department in developing investment-led strategies
  • Proven experience in planning and activating Paid Media campaigns, working to conversion KPIs
  • Able to manage a team / direct reports
  • Have a passion for optimising ads and achieving agreed ROI and/or targets
